Caught the show at the Joint last night. Killer set. Seen all the zepplin tributes in town and you are by far the best of the lot. When are you coming back?

Damn, I leave town for a day and all hell breaks loose. This guestbook is not for bashing. It is amusing to see all of the same ip addresses posting with different aliases. I always said our competition visits this site more than I do. BigM, we know the facts and arguing with the other band on this guestbook is pointless. I am deleting all of this nonsense for it has no place on this site.

Hey dimbulb,

I am using .009 - .042 string sets. The band really enjoyed our two shows in Honolulu and it looks like we will be back again. Too early to give the exact date as yet. Sounds like you really know your stuff in regards to sound engineering. We look forward to our return. Mahalo.

582 : dimbulb
Hey, Lenny - what string guages do you run on your Les Paul? It's a treat to see Pagey's catalog played so well, I'm wondering how much tension yer wrangling there.

To the band: thanks for 2 great Honolulu shows recently. Both powerful performances, and nice touch for the troops at the Jan show.

There was an earlier Guestbook comment on excessive bass at Pipeline. Might have to do with commentor's placement. First 8 rows or so get a ton of bass and kick drum from under-stage subwoofers and not much dispersion from higher-freq cabs suspended above the stage. If you're up front with elbows on the stage, you've got a subwoofer in the gut and not enuf vocals & gtr. Sound opens up about 1/4 back in the hall and the mixing desk is 2/3 to 3/4 back so it sounds fine to them, I'm sure. But stagefront, you get a great view but muffled sound. Unavoidable unless they'd aim 2 hi-freq cabs to radiate that area. More of a dispersion issue than a mixing issue for the stagefront area, to my thinking.

Aloha, and come again!

Thanks all for writing in. Yes, I now have a link to the unplugged video on the Media page. Abhinav, thanks again for everything. Ehsaan, it was great speaking with you and yes, got the key fixed and no, jcm 800's were non existent in Chennai. Had to make do with the crappy valvestate amps. The gig was slamming and was sold out at 8,000 tickets. You guys put on a fantastic show as well. Let me know when you guys hit Los Angeles.

Guys that video of the four of you playing kashmir just sitting around is fantastic! Now if only it were in grainy 16mm like the old zeppelin archival footage haha..

Sounds like you guys rocked India a little to hard. Guess they had to cut the show short so that the entire country wouldn't run out of electricity?

Cant wait to see you guys again

Tyler

You site team should add the link to the Kashmir unplugged Video on this site somewhere. Thats raw Zeppelin in their knickers. No smokescreened hype either. Joe mocks plants voice near perfect without a microphone. That was amazing to hear. Share that stuff. PS : Make more of those.

561 : Uday@IIT
You guys were simply mind blowing at Saarang. Amazingly close (and I mean >99.9% close) to the live led zep experience! Undoubtedly THE best rock concert we've had at IIT Madras, for Saarang. Hope you too enjoyed it immensely out here, except of course for the unfortunate incident. The student community at IIT feels for it. So do the press and the media. Looking forward to having you over a lot many times.

Hey, you guys rocked at Saarang in Chennai. I guess we owe you a huge apology to how things ended up at the concert, but hope this isn't the last time you guys come to India. The press in India is raving about you guys - in case you want to know. All the best, guys. You chaps have talent written across your foreheads.

Just saw you at the Pipeline in Honolulu. WOW!!!!!!!!! I have been a Zep head since about 1974. I saw them in '77 (or so) in Oakland (Day on the Green - both shows). I have seen Page and Plant about eight times, and have seen Robert solo about four times. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!! Really! A word of constructive criticism (and maybe it was peculiar to the Hawaii show), tone down the bass just a bit (guitar, keyboard, and drum). The thunder is awesome, but the bass was overwhelming at times. Other than that, WOW!!!!!!!!!

Its an extreme amount of joy to have the almighty LedZepplica come to Saarang 06. Your addition to this event proves your group is the best phenomenon known to the Tribute scene. We want the best. We wouldnt have it any other way . Congratulations ! The shows level of intensity will find its way to the inner core of the entire (blessed) audience. You will leave an incredible mark in history for the youth culture in India. LedZeppelin's music is very stong here and we hold it as sacred as you. Kumar

Cristobal, performing at the Estadio Chile and meeting the many wonderful Chilean people was one of the most enjoyable highlights of our career. We brought back great memories (as well as a few bottles of Pisco) with us. I did not realize the dark history of the Estadio Chile. That is unfortunate.

I AM FROM CHILE AND IN CHILE LED ZEPPELIN HAD A HUGE FOLLOWING IN THE 70s. CHILEAN PEOPLE ARE GREAT ROMANTICS WE DON'T LET GO OF THE PAST NOR DO WE LET GO OF SOMETHING THAT IS GREAT. LED ZEPPELIN ARE GREAT AND WHEN YOU GUYS DID THE TRIBUTE CONCERT IN CHILE, THE PEOPLE THERE TRULY BELIEVED IT WAS LED ZEPPELIN. LET US NOT FORGET THAT ESTADIO CHILE WAS ONCE USED AS A CONCENTRATION CAMP WHERE SINGERS LIKE VICTOR JARA WERE MURDERED. LONG LIVE THE ZEP. LONG LIVE ROCK. VIVA CHILE. VIVA LA REVOLUCION.
